Terms & Conditions

Important Information

Den Building is intended for children aged 6+ years. Participation may be refused if a child does not meet the age requirements.

A parent, guardian, or responsible adult (aged 18 or over) must remain present and supervise their child for the entire duration of the activity. Children must not be left unattended at any time.

Participants should wear suitable outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and suitable footwear, such as trainers or wellington boots. Open-toed shoes, sandals, flip-flops, sliders, crocs, shoes with heels, or other unsuitable footwear must not be worn.

Sessions take place in a woodland environment and may involve uneven, wet, muddy, or slippery ground, as well as natural obstacles such as tree roots, branches, and changes in terrain.

Participants must walk carefully and must not run within the activity area. Children should remain within designated activity areas and follow all instructions given by the activity team.

Parents, guardians, or responsible adults must inform the activity team of any medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, allergies, or additional needs that may affect the child's safe participation.

Gloves and any other protective equipment provided must be worn when instructed by the activity team, including during den-building activities.

Participants must ask a member of the activity team for assistance before attempting to move large, heavy, or awkward materials. Materials should only be used as directed.

Dens must not be entered, climbed on, or used until they have been inspected and approved by a member of the activity team.

Participants must respect the natural environment and must not damage trees, plants, habitats, or disturb wildlife during the activity.

Participants and accompanying adults must behave in a safe and respectful manner towards other participants, staff, and the environment.

Please use the toilet before the session begins, as the nearest toilet facilities are approximately a 5-minute walk from the activity area.

Any accident, injury, illness, or unsafe condition must be reported to a member of staff immediately.

Den Building takes place in a natural outdoor environment and involves handling natural materials. While reasonable precautions are taken, participation carries an inherent risk of minor injury.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse or end participation where a participant's or supervising adult's behaviour presents a risk to themselves, others, or the environment, or where these conditions are not complied with.
