Paint a Duck – Terms & Conditions
By booking or participating in the Paint a Duck activity, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Activity
Paint a Duck is a creative, recreational activity designed for adults aged 18 years and over. Participants will be provided with a duck-shaped item and painting materials to create their own design.
2. Age Requirement
This activity is strictly for participants aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be requested on the day. Anyone unable to provide satisfactory proof of age may be refused participation.
3. Booking & Payment
Places are subject to availability and are confirmed once payment has been received.
Your booking is for the date and time selected at the time of purchase.
Please arrive at least [10/15] minutes before your scheduled start time.
Late arrival may reduce the time available to complete the activity, and we may not be able to extend the session.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least [X days] before the activity may be eligible for a refund or transfer, subject to availability.
Cancellations made less than [X days] before the activity may be non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet the age requirement and you notify us in advance.
If we need to cancel or significantly change the activity, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund.
5. Paints & Materials
Paints and materials will be supplied for use during the activity.
Participants should follow any instructions given by staff regarding the safe use of paints and equipment.
While every effort is made to provide suitable materials, we cannot guarantee that paint will not stain clothing or personal belongings.
We recommend wearing clothing and footwear that you do not mind getting paint on.
6. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. We cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items brought to the activity.
7. Behaviour
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other guests.
We reserve the right to refuse or end participation where a person behaves in a disruptive, abusive, threatening or unsafe manner. In such circumstances, no refund may be provided.
8. Alcohol & Intoxication
If alcohol is available at or near the activity, participants must drink responsibly.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears to be excessively intoxicated or whose behaviour may present a risk to themselves, staff or other participants. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
9. Safety
Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions given by staff.
You should inform a member of staff before the activity if you have any allergies, sensitivities or other circumstances that may be relevant to the materials being used.
If you feel unwell or experience any issue during the activity, please notify a member of staff immediately.
10. Finished Artwork
The duck you paint is yours to keep, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Please note that paint may require time to dry. Depending on the activity format, your duck may need to remain at the venue for collection at a later date or may be provided to you in suitable packaging to take home.
11. Photography & Marketing
Photos or videos may be taken during the activity for promotional purposes.
We will ask for your permission before using identifiable photographs of you for promotional purposes; or
By attending, you acknowledge that photography and filming may take place and agree that images in which you appear may be used for promotional purposes.
You can speak to a member of staff if you do not wish to be photographed.
12. Accessibility
We aim to make the activity accessible and welcoming to everyone. If you have accessibility requirements or need reasonable adjustments, please contact us before booking or attending so that we can discuss how we can best accommodate you.
13. Liability
We will take reasonable care to provide the activity in a safe and appropriate manner. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings or for any loss arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Changes to the Activity
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the activity, materials, timings, venue or arrangements where necessary. We will provide notice where reasonably possible if a change materially affects your booking.
15. Acceptance of These Terms
By making a booking or participating in the Paint a Duck activity, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
