Christmas fancy-dress fun run/walk

Sunday 13th December

Cofton is excited to invite everyone to the annual Christmas fancy dress 5k fun run/walk through the grounds of the estate.

Participants will meet at 9.30-9.45am in the carpark opposite the outdoor pool in festive fancy dress for a 10am start. There will be a prize for best costume to be announced after the event in Amelia's where mince pies and mulled wine will be served for everyone taking part!

We are looking to raise valuable funds for Children's Hospice South West, a registered UK Charity that provides free palliative, respite end-of-life and bereavement care for children and young people with life limiting conditions and their families.

We hope you can all get involved and make a minimum suggested donation of £5 via the just giving page or on the day to make this event a festive success for such a worthy cause!

Outdoor Swimming Pools

Outdoor Heated Pool, please use the one way system in place and come to the entry gate at the time of your booking. Swim sessions are available to pre-book for 45 minutes.

Terms & Conditions

1. Participants:

1.1. All participants must be 5 years of age or older to participate in the Charity Christmas Fun Run/walk at Cofton.

1.2  All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

1.3. By registering and participating in the event, you confirm that you are physically fit and able to take part in the Fun Run/walk.

1.4. Participants must comply with all rules and regulations while participating in the Fun Run/walk

1.5. No Pushchairs, scooters, bikes at the event.

1.6. Well behaved dogs are allowed at the event, however, they must kept on a lead at all times during the run/walk.

 

2. Registration:

2.1. Participants must register online or in-person prior to the Fun Run/walk.

2.2. All registration is free of charge, but we suggest a minimum donation of £5 towards the charity for all those taking part. We will provide a link for Children's Hospice South West just giving page. 

2.3. Participants must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

2.4. Cofton Holidays reserves the right to refuse registration to any participant at its sole discretion.

 

3. Safety and Conduct:

3.1. Participants must wear appropriate footwear for running/walking which includes a wooded off road area. 

3.2. Participants are responsible for their own safety during the Fun Run and must act in a responsible and considerate manner towards fellow participants, volunteers and Cofton staff.

3.3. Participants must follow the directions and instructions given by Marshalls at all times and follow the designated route. 

3.4. Anyone taking part in the fun run/walk is accepting to do so at their own risk and Cofton Holidays does not accept any liability in the unlikely event of any accident or injury.
